Apple patches 20 Tiger security holes

Ok ... I tried to resist posting this ... really, I did.  But alas I'm weak.

From BetaNews.com - Apple released its monthly security update late Monday, comprised of a whopping 34 patches for a variety of security vulnerabilities across its server and client operating systems. Many of the flaws stem from third party utilities that are bundled with Mac OS X, including Apache and MySQL.

I'm not anti-apple, but like a growing many I am VERY ill of all the Apple overhype ... OSX has problems and holes just like any other operating system.  I'll stop now lest this becomes a very long post about my experiences and my peers experiences with Apple.  Recall that I was in the educational IT world before coming to Granger.  I have all sorts of unpleasant stories from my fellow all Mac IT directors for those that claim Mac's never have problems :-)

Hugs and kisses to all ...

I feel you. I too hear how MAC will rule the world someday. So I just smile and say, "I love my PC - can we still be friends?"
