Katharion vs. Postini ... and the winner is

Postinilogo Our Postini contract was coming to an end and so I'd been pondering a switch to Katharion as our hosted anti-spam solution.  Tony, Anthony, and a couple other church IT guys have recently implemented Katharion and gave it very good reviews.  +1 Katharion

I'm a huge Postini fan, it's been a sweet solution for us ... here's my old glowing review.  Why would we switch if I like Postini so much?  Hey, I'm married to no technology even if it's great :-)  +1 Katharion

The only real reason I pondered the switch is cost.  Katharion is about half the cost of Postini in our case.  +1 Katharion

After some comparisons I did note that Postini does offer us stuff Katharion doesn't (at least not yet).  +1 Postini.

Then I read recently that Google chose some Postini services for it's latest Google Apps Premiere Edition.  Hmm, if Google likes Postini it's gotta be good right?  +1 Postini

And finally, we've got so many other critical things going on right now that the time to switch and learn a new service along with retraining end users wasn't worth the cost differential ... by a long shot in this case.  +100 Postini!

So we're still a Postini shop ... it's a lame name, but a killer service.
