Church IT Survey - open for business

Got a ping today from Jon Edmiston over at CCV about the status of the IT Survey I was kicking around this Spring ... thanks for the reminder Jon.

Although it's not perfect, it's ready to roll.  Remaining big hurdle is how to allow us to make edits to our responses after initial submission ... it can't be super hard, anyone want to dig into the zoho creator code?

Why a survey about church IT?  Ever wonder what churches similar to you are doing IT wise?  How many computers do they support?  What's their IT staff size? Do they support multi-site, etc?  Or what about those churches several steps ahead of you - what's their IT makeup look like?  How should you plan now to be at that size in the future?
What about trying to find churches around you with experience in VoIP, Virtualization, etc?  Wouldn't it be sweet to have a resource that helped shed some light on these questions?

I strongly encourage you to set aside a few minutes to look over the survey questions (maybe even print them out) and then answer in as much detail as you can ... the more detail the better this resource will be for all of us.

I've deleted all prior entries in the survey ... If you took the survey prior to today, I've copied your answers and will email them to you provided you left your email address in the survey form.

I'll be putting links to the survey on CITRT.org and churchITpodcast.com as well as the top of this blog ... I'd encourage you, yes you, to help spread the word about the survey ... fact - there are lots of people that read your blog not reading mine.

Geeks for Jesus!
