Church IT's Biggest Loser - Registration Open
OK ... without further adieu ...
Here are our Contest Rules based off a similar contest ... these may be altered slightly as the contest gets underway, but for the most part they are a lock.
Eligibility
Any church IT staff (full or part-time role) ... If your church doesn't have any IT staff and you fill that role as a volunteer you're eligible too.
$25 to register ... no refunds period!Dates
- Start this Monday Dec 10th ... but you can join at any point later. Just means you have less time to record weight loss.
- Ends April 1st
- Winners announced/awarded April 5th at the Spring Roundtable (don't have to be present to win) ... probably a top 3 split of say 80%, 15%, 5%
- Probable small award at the halfway point
Weigh Ins
- Weigh ins must occur EACH MONDAY at the same time of day.
- The same scale must be used for each weigh in.
- The same clothes must be worn at each weigh in.
- Weigh ins will be recorded in whole pounds. If your scale reports partial pounds just drop the fraction
- Participants will record their Monday weigh in results in our online Zoho Spreadsheet ... you'll get an email with a link after you register.
- % loss results (not individual weights) will be made public so everyone can track and cheer on each contestants progress. See http://citpodcast.wiki.zoho.com/Biggest-Loser-Contest.html
Winning
It's not very fancy, but whoever has the largest % weight loss wins.
((max weight - min weight) / max weight * 100) = % weight loss
Honor System
The contest assumes that all participants will follow the teachings of the Bible ... you know, don't lie! If you are dishonest God will deal with you justly.
