After chatting with Bill English here's the skinny directly from Bill ...
"... for those consultants who work with churches. Our normal price for a summit is $2995, which includes the courseware, registration fee, breakfast, lunch and refreshments. Because we're handing out two courses (SharePoint Server 2007 and Designer) ... [we'll offer] a price of $2495 for the week ... Normally, our courseware sells for $400/manual. So the value to the consultant is $1K off the normal price of what we're able to garner on the open market ... note this fee is for this event only and only for these dates."
So while not free, this is still an incredible deal ($1000 discount!) for consultants who work with churches/ministries!
