A buddy sent me this recently ... figured it would make a good "Friday Funny"
There are almost 1000 customer reviews of this product on Amazon.com - you have to hunt for the best nuggets, but there are some clever and humorous reviews many in short story form ... like this ...
"When our eyes met, time stopped. His lips curled into the hint of smile. With a casual flip of his hand, he brushed back the long, thick curls of his dark, wavy hair. I was powerless to resist his cobalt eyes as he drew me in. Our hands intertwined, our lips touched, I was lost. His breath graced my neck, then he spoke with a voice as deep as the ocean. "Could you pick up some Tuscan Whole Milk, 128 fl oz?" "Yes," I whispered. Our souls were one. "
"He always brought home milk on Friday.
After a long hard week full of days he would burst through the door, his fatigue hidden behind a smile. There was an icy jug of Tuscan Whole Milk, 1 Gallon, 128 fl oz in his right hand. With his left hand he would grip my waist - I was always cooking dinner - and press the cold frostiness of the jug against my arm as he kissed my cheek. I would jump, mostly to gratify him after a time, and smile lovingly at him. He was a good man, a wonderful husband who always brought the milk on Friday, Tuscan Whole Milk, 1 Gallon, 128 fl oz. " ... this story continues on here :-)
"It was a day just like any other day: dark and hopeless. The situation I was in was equally dark and hopeless. The tip I'd received about the Verchetti Gang drug deal had been accurate in concept, if slightly off about the exact numbers of people who would try to kill me ... " it goes on here.
Some clever and creative effort went into some of these reviews ... all over a gallon of Tuscan Whole Milk ... I'll I can say is ... God Bless the Internet ;-)

Introducing a shirt so ironic it could even cure acute anemia*!
Yes- Despair's new Ironic Tee

appeal to cynics, chemists, disaffected college students, and ironists
across the globe, even as it strikes fear into the hearts of those
lesser vendors of ennui, angst, and pomo-snark clothing who litter the
Internet- you know of whom I speak!
No self-respecting collector of ironic shirts can resist the
chance to purchase the new standard by which all other ironic shirts
wlll be compared and found wanting! Buy it NOW!
* Not a cure for
acute anemia. In fact, if you're anemic, we strongly recommend that you
DON'T buy this shirt. You're pale enough already- a light-colored shirt
like this will just make you look whiter than Robert Smith at The Cure's
1990 Full Moon Concert ... Instead, why not compliment yourself by
buying a shirt more flattering to your vampiric pallor? Something with
just a hint of Goth sensibility? Such as...
Slightly off topic ... has anyone actually seen any episodes of The IT Crowd? I read about this british sitcom several months ago, but they block episode downloads from the US ... grrr
The IT Crowd is set in the offices of Reynholm Industries, a fictitious British corporation in central London. It focuses on the shenanigans of the three-strong IT support team located in a dingy, untidy and unkempt basement - a stark contrast to the shining modern architecture and stunning London views enjoyed by the rest of the organisation.
If you read more of the wikipedia description you too will really be curious to watch this show ... a sitcom about us IT people ... I'm sure we could all help write that script :-)
... apparently NBC is going to "remake" this show for American audiences just like they did with The Office ... sweet!
UPDATE: Found Episode 1 of The IT Crowd on Google Video ... will it be any good?
