Hurray! I'm on a podcast! I think it really turned out well Jason, meet you there on the 15th!

Fun times to be had by all on the 15th. :)

Dude, I'm with you on the "uhhh" "ummm" talk... I'm guilty as well.

Still, thanks for facilitating this. Very valuable.

We should probably snag the notes from each show, like the URLs mentioned, etc., and build them into a list to accompany your podcast post. (I couldn't find a transcript of our text chat, but that might suffice if it exists. Otherwise, we could have someone just jot the notes as we go...)

Hi - I'm Dave Nelsen, the founder and CEO of TalkShoe. It sounds like our "interactive podcasting" service is working well for you (functionally) but that you hit the website during a heavy load period. We've seen traffic increase by 9.9X in the last 8 weeks and you can imagine that that creates some challenges. Happily, in another 2-3 weeks we'll be thru those and prepared to support the 10X growth that we expect in the next 8 weeks. Have fun Talkcasting and please email [email protected] if you experience any future problems. We'll help you in every way possible. Thanks.

David R. - I checked and there is currently no way to grab the chat log from Talkshoe ... nuts. I hope they add that in the future as that would be a huge help.
I think having someone take notes as we go is a great idea ... you interested? ;-)

Dave N. - Thanks so much for your reply. Your service is totally worth some initial bumps ... you've hit a great niche :-)

This is great stuff (with or without the ummms :-). Now, where's that speech to text converter button? Looking forward to the next one.

Sure, I can jot the notes each go-round. :) In the event I have a scheduling conflict, we'd want to pass the torch to someone---but I should be around for the most part.

Many thanks to all the participants for sharing your experience and knowledge. As a significantly less experienced church IT person, I found your insights very helpful. I've already put Nlite to work this week and am considering Dameware. My ministry is more effective because of your willingness to share through this means. Thankyou.

Dean - thanks so much for your comment ... it gave me a kewl warm fuzzy feeling inside :-)
