Ed has a post about some of things he's going to miss about his Thinkpad T60p when he has to give it up in a few days for a Macbook.
One of the reason we like the Thinkpad line is their durability. We have some very rough laptop "handlers" on staff so although the Thinkpads aren't sexy to look at they are built like tanks and have quality guts.
Here's a great example of something I can do with a Thinkpad that I'd never even think to try with any other laptop ...
Here's Ed's Thinkpad supporting my 210 pound carcass ... hmm, I think I may have a new career opportunity as a shoe model :-)

Not sure if it could do that but looks like a macbook can take a bullet.
