North Point Ministries
Job Title: Technology Support – North Point
Reports To: Support Systems Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt
SUMMARY
Provides excellent customer service to the North Point Ministries staff by resolving end-user
hardware and software issues, and by proactively pursuing technology solutions to improve the
efficiency and effectiveness of the organization
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provides excellent end-user hardware and software support
• Uses phone, live chat and issue tracking tools to interact with the staff, manage issues and
log activities
• Manages processes and systems that insure technology services, including computers,
software and phones, are being delivered, managed and maintained to exceed service level
agreements
• Coordinates with the technology support team to insure all campuses are consistently
receiving excellent customer service
• Keeps team informed of trends in user issues, concerns and needs
• Provides routine reports to the Support Systems Manager on all assigned budgets and
projects, and on service level measurables, including response times, resolution times and
customer satisfaction
• Oversees contracted Customer Support Engineers and volunteers as assigned by the
Support Systems Manager
• Proactively seeks subject matter expertise in areas that help the organization improve
efficiency, including PDA syncing, calendar and contact management, and software
functionality
• Completes other projects as assigned by the Support Systems Manager
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees day-to-day activities of contracted Customer Support Engineers and volunteers (as
assigned by the Support Systems Manager).
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelors Degree in relevant field and two years of experience in customer service and IT, or
equivalent combination of education and experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on direct customer
interaction

HOURS
Typically 40 hours a week, Sunday through Thursday, during normal business hours. Occasional
event support outside of typical hours.
