VMware Academic Pricing now available to Churches!

Boy, we’ve been lobbying for this for 3+ years … and yesterday VMware announced it’s finally giving non-profit organizations access to academic pricing! w00t!!!

Of course academic pricing is still no where near the crazy discounts we get from Microsoft, but it’s a great start!  Thank you VMware!!

This means on most products expect about 40% off the list price.

I haven't been able to find any info of this on VMWare's website. I also called their sales department and they hadn't heard of it either. Do you know where I can find any additional info on this?

Both Dell and CDW reps are aware...strange that VMware reps don't know yet.

The UMC Techshop (using CDW) gave me a quote of $3,100 for Essentials Plus Bundle and Platinum support for $895. Dell gave me a quote of $1,491.51 for the plus bundle and $1,814.45 for the support. What is the best way to find the prices you mentioned?
